"There Will Be Works" strategically places artworks in specific areas at irregular intervals, without revealing their exact locations. It provides a space for active exploration and participation that changes over time. These works may be searched for or discovered, with potential discoveries forming an essential part of the artwork itself. It raises questions about the presence and absence of the works and explores the boundaries between expectation and fulfillment. The title of the work implies a promise, yet the time and place of the artwork’s appearance remain unknown. In this way, it creates a scenario of “there will be works,” allowing for an exploration of the nature of experience and the role of the audience. Participating works may be left on-site, abandoned, or recycled. Furthermore, different combinations of works create varied content and interpretations.

Instructions:

2. The artist will place the works at irregular intervals. There will be five works in total, and the form and location of the works will not be announced.
3. The works will remain in place until they are damaged, taken away, or removed.
4. Once a work disappears, a notice will be issued indicating that the work is no longer present.
5. During the final week of the exhibition, the locations of all the works will be revealed.

參與說明:

3. 作品會一直存在直到損毀、取走、被清走。
4. 當作品消失後，會公告作品已經不在。
5. 展覽最後一週會公布所有的作品出現位置。
