\[ Afterlife ver. 1.0 ]

\{ 現實世界的生命 \<--裝置--> 虛擬世界的生命 }

“Life is simply life; it has nothing to do with size, form, or scale.”

In this project, I explore the scale of life by allowing the work to collect lives and transfer them into a virtual environment, creating a kind of afterlife. The virtual environment is a game called “Life Invader”. On the device, a display shows the amount of life collected by the installation, and this amount becomes the hero’s life in the game. So if a visitor plays the game and the hero loses life, the number on the display decreases. When the number reaches “0”, the installation itself has to collect new lives before the game can continue.
